Stitch Fix #3 - April 2015

SPRING IS FINALLY HERE!  Phew, that was a long winter!  I do love the winter for skiing, but by the time March comes I am ready to say goodbye to snow and ice (and freezing temperatures)!

Well, the arrival of my 3rd "fix" helped to satisfy my urge to shop for spring clothes!  I live in an area which is limited when it comes to shopping, and I rely on my Stitch Fix personal stylist to introduce me to new brands that I might not have exposure to otherwise! I created a Pinterest board called Stitch Fix Inspiration, and I provide this link to my stylist.  She has been successful in finding me some of the items I pinned which is so great!

See it.  Like it.  Pin it.  Get it.  (Have I mentioned I like when things are easy?)

Ok..here are the details of my third box from Stitch Fix:

1) LIVERPOOL Mira Skinny Pant ($88)
2) ROMOLO Zena Crystal Palm Collar Necklace ($38)
3) MARKET & SPRUCE Alessandra Striped & Colorblocked Blouse ($48)
4) 41HAWTHORN Jace Chevron Print Dress ($68)
5) MARGARET M Emer Cropped Straight Leg Pant ($98)

So, here is how I decided which items to keep:

LIVERPOOL Mira Skinny Pant ($88)
I really need more work pants, but I already have black pants.  They were a slim fit and a little on the higher end of what I like to spend for pants, so I decided they are not for me.

Verdict: GOING BACK

ROMOLO Zena Crystal Palm Collar Necklace ($38)
I have seen a lot of cute jewelry hidden in Stich Fix boxes all over Pinterest and Instagram, so eventually I hoped one of these 'pretties' would find their way to me!  It was colorful, but not exactly what I am looking for.

Verdict: GOING BACK

MARKET & SPRUCE Alessandra Striped & Colorblocked Blouse ($48)
I love the bright colors this season!  This sleeveless top is so soft and has gorgeous colorblocking design which is very flattering!  It goes with work pants or can be paired with jeans for a more casual/weekend look.  I never think to buy yellow, so it was so glad my stylist picked this for me!

Verdict: GET IN MY CLOSET

41HAWTHORN Jace Chevron Print Dress ($68)
I thought at first glance that I would really like this dress, however, when I tried it on the pleats just didn't do anything for me.  I will continue my desperate search for cute work dresses!  If anyone has any cute work dresses they have loved from Stitch Fix, please share the name with me and I will request it in my next fix!

Verdict: GOING BACK

MARGARET M Emer Cropped Straight Leg Pant  ($98)
Another pair of paints in my 'fix' was so great because I need pants.  Again, a little more than I typically like to spend on pants.  I have been hearing NOTHING but awesome things about these pants from followers on Instagram and co-workers so I was so excited to give them a try.  I really loved the fit and the elastic waist!  I felt like they did great things for my 'backside'.  However, I am still on the fence because I would LOVE a bright blue color more than the teal...undecided at this point!

Verdict: UNDECIDED

APRIL 2015 FIX = 1 definite new 'pretty' in my closet.

In case you have not heard of Stitch Fix, it's a personal styling program that's takes your input to create a style profile for $20 each time you want a "fix".  I currently have mine set up for monthly.  If you keep one or more items the $20 fee is subtracted from the balance due. As a bonus, if you buy all five items they send you, they give you a 25% discount.  Click the banner below to get started today!

Happy Shopping!
