Stitch Fix #2 - March 2015

I won't lie, my life is not super exciting.  I rarely travel.  I typically got to sleep around 9:30pm.  I eat very few carbs.  So, Stitch Fix Day (yes, it's on my calendar) is a big deal around here.  When my second Stitch Fix box arrived I could not wait to see what my stylist had picked for me! I only kept one item from my last fix, however I just had a feeling this one was going to be great! I had been adding items regularly to my Stitch Fix Inspiration board on Pinterest and left a note for my stylist so she would know what I was looking for!  I have serious Spring Fever and my closet needs a serious makeover.

Here's what I received in my second fix:

1) JUST BLACK Aaron Distressed Skinny Jean ($78)
2) JUST USA Anjuli Dark Wash Denim Jacket ($58)
3) SKIES ARE BLUE Vilmer V-Neck Blouse ($48)
4) 41HAWTHORN Colibri Solid Tab Sleeve Blouse ($48)
5) LOVEAPPELLA Georgini Lace Detail Knit Top ($54)

So, here is how I decided which items to keep:

JUST BLACK Aaron Distressed Skinny Jean ($78)
I am picky when it comes to jeans and these are great! Not too distressed, soft, and with a bit of stretch in them. Long enough for me (I'm 5'8") and a nice color. Looking forward to adding these to my wardrobe!  Verdict: GET IN MY CLOSET

JUST USA Anjuli Dark Wash Denim Jacket ($58)
I specifically asked my stylist for a denim jacket, but this wasn't quite what I was looking for.  I have really long arms and this jacket fit me very well in the arms and shoulders.  However, I wasn't looking for a jacket that was cropped.  Also, it was a bit darker than I expected. I'm not sure if I will try again, or maybe she can find me a different spring jacket?  Verdict: GOING BACK

SKIES ARE BLUE Vilmer V-Neck Blouse ($48)
This top is a pretty color and is very sheer and meant to have a tank underneath.  However, it was a little too 'boxy' and just didn't WOW me like I wanted it to.  Verdict: GOING BACK

41HAWTHORN Colibri Solid Tab Sleeve Blouse ($48)
Perfection! I adore this top. Gorgeous green color, sleek neckline, and hangs beautifully.  It's slightly longer in the back, so great with leggings too. Verdict: GET IN MY CLOSET

LOVEAPPELLA Georgini Lace Detail Knit Top ($54)
I wasn't thinking I needed another long-sleeved top with summer coming, but I can't pass this up. Love the lace detail and it's so cozy. What's one more top? I'll make room.
Verdict: GET IN MY CLOSET

I was so impressed with my stylist, Adilah, this month! She did an amazing job taking my style into account and sending me pieces that I can easily incorporate into my wardrobe.

MARCH 2015 FIX = 3 new 'pretties' in my closet.

In case you have not heard of Stitch Fix, it's a personal styling program that's takes your input to create a style profile for $20 each time you want a "fix".  I currently have mine set up for monthly.  If you keep one or more items the $20 fee is subtracted from the balance due. As a bonus, if you buy all five items they send you, they give you a 25% discount.
