Stitch Fix #1 - February 2015

I adore the concept behind Stitch Fix because it's simple.

I love simple.  Who doesn't???

I used to have my nights or weekends to actually go into a store and try on clothes. Now that I have two small children that seems nearly impossible.  Plus,  I love the idea of someone introducing me to new styles I might not have considered.

(I am sometimes scared I will lose touch with what's "in" since I spend most of my time wearing comfortable clothes and dodging spit-up these days).

In case you have not heard of Stitch Fix, it's a personal styling program that's takes your input to create a style profile for $20 each time you want a "fix".  I currently have mine set up for monthly.  If you keep one or more items the $20 fee is subtracted from the balance due. As a bonus, if you buy all five items they send you, they give you a 25% discount which can be pretty great if you love everything they send!!

I received my first "fix" last month and kept the Octavia Henry Birds on a Branch coral infinity scarf ($28).  (I love it!) Since I had already paid the $20 styling fee it was only $8 more! So cute and reasonable for a high-quality infinity scarf!!

If you use Pinterest, you can link a Pinterest board to your Stitch Fix account so your stylist can get a sense of what you like! Check out my Stitch Fix inspiration board!

I can't wait to see what they send me next month!
